From August 2003 Antonía Hevesi has been the artistic manager and pianist for the lunch time concerts at Hafnarborg, Hafnarfjordur Centre of Culture and Fine Art. Antonía Hevesi was born in Hungary. She graduated in 1988 from the F. Liszt Music Academy in Budapest with an MA in Choral management and music theory. From 1990 she studied to become an organist at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria with professor Otto Bruckner. Antonia works as an organist for Hafnarfjordur church and pianist for the Icelandic Opera.

She moved to Iceland in 1992 with her family and from September 2001 they have lived in Hafnarfjordur.
Antonía has held many concerts as an organist and pianist in Hungary, Austria, Sweden, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Britain, Canada, and in Iceland. She has attended masterclass courses and has played with Dalton Baldwin, Lorraine Nubar and Olivera Miljakovic and performed in many recordings on CD’s.
