Artists in Hafnarfjordur

The people of Hafnarfjordur celebrate its towns 100 years anniversary in 2008 and Hafnarborg, Hafnarfjordur Centre of Culture and Fine Art celebrates its 25 years anniversary.  On this occasion the museum hosts an exhibition of works by artists working or living in Hafnarfjordur.  Fifty different artists were offered to exhibit which are all members of professional artists’ unions such as The Iceland Association of Visual Artists and their sub unions.  Other artists that are not involved in the above unions but have completed their art education were also invited.
