Hafnarborg runs Artist in Residence program on the top floor of the museum at Strandgata 34, 220 Hafnarfjordur, which is located in the centre of town. The premesis are for both Icelandic and foreign artists.The Hafnarborg guest apartment is 80 square metre and consists of a 1 bedroom flat with a studio, a fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator/ coffee machine/ toaster/ cooking machine/ washing machine and dryer (etc), and a bathroom with a shower. The work area is in the living room which has a TV and sofa. Bed sheets and towels are included. The apartment /studio is a non-smoking area.The residence fee is 300 euros for one month and is paid one month in advance (prior to arriving). The fee includes electricity, heating, local telephone calls and an Internet connection. Application form |
